Juan Felipe Morales Acosta
Juan Felipe Morales Acosta has extensive experience advising and representing local and international companies before government entities, courts, and national and international tribunals. His practice focuses on judicial, arbitral, and administrative disputes across diverse sectors such as energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, and telecommunications.
Before joining the Firm, he worked with the International Arbitration team at Arnold & Porter in London, where he participated in commercial and investment arbitration proceedings under ICC, ICSID, and UNCITRAL rules. He also brings valuable experience from judicial bodies, having served at the Third Section of the Council of State (Colombia) and the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
He is admitted to practice law in Colombia and the State of New York. He earned his Law degree from Universidad del Rosario, a Specialization in International Business Law from Universidad de los Andes, and an LL.M. from New York University School of Law (NYU Law). Additionally, he is a professor of administrative law and public procurement at Universidad del Rosario and Universidad del Bosque.
