Alberto Escobar Gutiérrez has more than 13 years of experience advising local and international clients in law firms and in the real sector as an in-house lawyer. Before joining the firm, he worked at Brigard Urrutia Abogados, where he served as a senior attorney advising one of the largest real estate investment vehicles in the country. Prior to that, he worked at Posse Herrera Ruiz Abogados as an associate in the firm’s real estate, urban planning, and agribusiness team.

He obtained his law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia). During his undergraduate studies, he completed additional coursework at the same university, including a Diploma in Public Procurement and a Diploma in Real Estate Law. He also holds a specialization in Administrative Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia) and a specialization in Urban Law from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia). Additionally, he obtained a Master’s degree in Real Estate Law from the International University of La Rioja (UNIR).
