Santiago holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he concentrated his studies in International Commercial Law and Tort Law. During law school, he was a member of the Economic Criminal Law Research Group, developing a strong interest in legal analysis within business and regulatory environments.

Santiago advises domestic and multinational companies on a broad range of corporate, commercial, international trade, and customs matters. His practice focuses on supporting business operations and transactions, including the negotiation, drafting, and review of commercial agreements, as well as assessing legal risks related to logistics, port activities, and international transportation.

He has experience preparing corporate documentation, analyzing investment incentive frameworks, and monitoring domestic and international regulations affecting trade facilitation and cross-border business activities. Santiago also assists clients with strategic legal consultations, contract standardization processes, and the development of practical legal solutions designed to mitigate risk and support efficient business operations.
