Diana Cristina Ibarra has experience advising national and international clients in law firms and in the real sector as an in-house lawyer. Diana Cristina focuses her practice on the structuring of real estate projects; drafting, negotiating, and reviewing real estate-related contracts; implementing legal structures for the development of real estate projects; preparing and reviewing title and urban planning due diligence; as well as preparing memoranda and legal opinions within her area of practice.

Before joining the firm, Diana Cristina worked at Brigard & Urrutia Abogados as an associate and member of the firm’s Real Estate Team.

Diana Cristina obtained her law degree from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia), where she graduated with honors and received the Excellence Diploma. During her undergraduate studies, she pursued legal studies at Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Paris, France) as part of an international exchange program, where she earned the Advanced Certificate in French Law. She also holds specializations in Commercial Law and Contract Law from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia), both completed on academic scholarship after achieving the highest score at the university in the 2007 ECAES examinations and ranking among the top ten scores nationwide. Diana further holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Melbourne (Melbourne, Australia).

She is fluent in Spanish and English.
