Mónica is a partner at the firm and has over 20 years of experience advising companies, as well as local and international clients. She is part of the Corporate practice, where she advises on mergers and acquisitions, real estate projects and developments, and a wide range of corporate matters including the formation, structuring, and liquidation of companies. Her practice also includes the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements and legal advisory in intellectual property. In addition, Mónica assists Colombian families with wealth planning and succession matters.

She earned her law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia). She holds a Specialization in Commercial Law from the same university, a Specialization in Contract Law from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia), and a Master’s Degree in Colombian Corporate Law from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja. She has also completed courses in legal English and diplomas in fiduciary law, antitrust, and competition law.
