Juan Ignacio Gamboa earned his law degree from Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) and completed a specialization at Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II (Paris, France), obtaining the Diplôme Supérieur de l’Université in Civil and Financial Law. He also pursued studies at Culver Military Academy (Indiana, USA). He also pursued studies at Culver Military Academy (Indiana, USA).

With more than 25 years of experience, he advises domestic and international clients on civil, commercial, and administrative law, as well as dispute resolution, among other matters. In the areas of civil and commercial law, he has extensive experience in commercial contracts, negotiable instruments, insolvency proceedings, consumer protection, and competition law, as well as estate planning and advisory work in family and succession matters. He advises domestic and international clients on administrative law, government contracting, and public tenders with government entities. He also has experience in civil and administrative liability matters and represents clients in conciliation proceedings and commercial and administrative litigation, as well as before domestic and international arbitration tribunals.

He speaks Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
