Alberto Escobar has more than 13 years of experience advising local and foreign clients in law firms and in the real estate sector as an in-house lawyer. Alberto focuses his practice in the structuring of real estate projects, drafting, negotiation and review of real estate contracts, implementation of legal structures for the development of real estate projects, drafting and review of title and urban planning studies, and legal opinions focused on his area of expertise.

Prior to joining the firm, Alberto worked at Brigard Urrutia Abogados where he served as a senior attorney advising one of the largest real estate investment vehicles in the country. Prior to that experience, Alberto worked at Posse Herrera Ruiz Abogados, where he served as an associate attorney in the real estate, urban planning and agribusiness team of the Firm.

Alberto obtained his law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia). During his undergraduate studies, he completed complementary studies at the same university with a Diploma in State Contracting and a Diploma in Real Estate Law. He also has a specialization in Administrative Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia) and a specialization in Urban Law from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia).
