Alicia has more than 13 years of experience in the private and public sector. In the public sector, her experience is focused on the administration, reorganization, acquisition, and disposal of public assets for the Capital District and the Nation.
Before joining the firm, Alicia acquired experience in prevention of money laundering, due diligence procedures for real estate investment projects and commodities, and in attending of legal matters related to asset forfeiture, domain extinction, drug trafficking crimes or money laundering crimes.
At the Firm, Alicia advises national and foreign clients in their day-to-day work, providing legal assistance in corporate, compliance, customs, foreign exchange, urban planning and environmental matters.
Alicia obtained her law degree, with an emphasis on Environmental, Agrarian and Mining Law, at the Fundación Universitaria Agraria de Colombia (Bogotá, Colombia), where she was awarded a Scholarship for Excellence during her career and is a Mediator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá.
