Juan Camilo Ortiz has over nine years of professional experience in corporate, commercial, tax, and financial matters, gained through roles in trust companies, law firms, and most recently, the public sector. He has advised national and international companies on a wide range of issues related to their operations in Colombia and abroad.
Juan Camilo earned his Law degree from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia) with a focus on Commercial Law. He holds specializations in Financial Legislation from Universidad de los Andes and Tax Law from Universidad del Rosario. Additionally, he obtained a Master’s degree in Corporate and Financial Management from Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE), Spain.
He has participated in complex estate planning processes for various clients and has advised on M&A transactions, supporting all parties involved in these processes.
Juan Camilo is fluent in English and Spanish.
