Juan Pablo Buitrago is an attorney from Universidad de los Andes and a member of the Firm’s Corporate Law practice. He has two years of experience in corporate, commercial, contractual, and compliance matters, participating in the structuring and review of commercial agreements, legal and regulatory risk assessments, corporate governance issues, and legal support in corporate transactions.

Before joining the Firm, he worked as a Junior Associate at Castro Caballero Abogados, focusing on criminal law matters, and as a Legal Intern at Johnson & Johnson, where he supported contract review and negotiation across Latin America, legal risk analysis in commercial operations, and improvements to contractual management processes. Additionally, he served as Legal Advisor to the Partido Verde Oxígeno, contributing to the implementation of compliance frameworks, legal and reputational risk analysis, and advisory on regulatory and contractual matters. He has academic training in negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, international arbitration, and compliance.
