Partner of the Firm, and leader of the Tax Law area. She has more than 10 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. She has worked advising companies and individuals in matters related to taxes, tax planning, commercial and corporate law. During her experience in the public sector she served as Legal Director of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, advising different Ministers of Finance on highly complex issues related to tax, constitutional, economic, national and international law, as well as in the formulation and implementation of the country’s economic policy, participating in the structuring and processing of draft laws and complementary regulations on fiscal, tax and customs matters, among others. His experience has provided him with a unique understanding of governmental processes and he stands out for his ability to solve complex tax problems and provide precise and strategic legal guidance. Her experience is also complemented by her participation on Boards of Directors.

Juanita obtained her law degree from Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia). She is a specialist in Taxation and Financial Administration from the same university. She obtained her Master’s degree in Taxation from Universidad de los Andes.
